Accounts · administrator
Agency administrators can access cases in their agency only. Investigator accounts see their assigned or self-created cases within that agency. Additional agencies and administrators are provisioned using the local CLI.
Case access
Viewer: read and download. Editor: also import evidence, add notes, reprocess metadata, and update review status. Manager: also manage case membership.
Protected file intake
Files up to 10 MB are preserved in quarantine. A clean ClamAV scan is required before search, download or parser access. Missing or stale signatures, detections, encrypted files and scan failures keep files blocked. A passed scan reduces risk; it does not guarantee safety.
Scan-released TXT, MD, CSV and JSON are searchable. PDF text is extracted by physical page in an isolated Linux worker; up to 100 pages and 100,000 characters. Image-only PDF pages are marked as needing OCR. Image/video metadata also requires the sandbox. OCR, transcription and AI analysis are not implemented.
The scanner and sandbox must be installed on the backend host. If either is unavailable, the interface shows the blockage. Older files must be scanned before access. The online preview does not process files.
